Shipping & Liability Policy

By submitting your specimen to INTRESTEIN, you agree to the following Shipping Policy:

1. Domestic Shipping Only

We only accept and fulfill domestic orders. No international shipping (inbound or outbound) is accepted.

2. Inbound Shipments (Shipping to Us)

Clients and customers are fully responsible for properly packing, insuring, and shipping all items sent to our facility. We are not liable for any loss, damage, or delay during transit when items are shipped to us.

3. Outbound Shipments (Shipping to You)

All items are packaged with care to ensure safety during transit. However, once a package is handed over to the shipping carrier, responsibility for loss, damage, or delivery delays transfers to the carrier. We are not liable for damage, loss, theft, or carrier delays that occur while items are in transit or after delivery.

4. Video Documentation & Claim Support

For quality assurance and protection, every incoming mineral package is video-recorded during unboxing, and all outbound shipments are video-recorded prior to sealing. If a carrier claim is necessary, we can assist by providing our video footage and documentation as supporting evidence for your claim.

5. Carrier Claims

All claims for items damaged, delayed, or lost during transit must be filed directly with the shipping carrier. If an item arrives damaged:

• Keep all original packaging, shipping boxes, and padding materials.
• Take clear photos of the damaged outer box and the damaged item.
• File a claim directly with the carrier as soon as possible following their specific claim window and guidelines.

6. Insurance & Claim Realities

We strongly advise declaring full value and purchasing shipping insurance for all high-value items on both inbound and outbound shipments.

While we maintain a flawless track record and have never experienced damage during transit, clients should note that recovering full reimbursement for natural mineral specimens from insurers can be challenging and complex due to strict carrier appraisal requirements. We will happily provide all video and photographic documentation to assist your case, but final claim approvals and payout amounts remain solely at the discretion of the insurance provider.

Specimen Management & Abandonment Policy

We take great pride and care when handling mineral specimens. Our workshop includes security and climate-controlled storage.

Because we provide transportation, specialized storage, dedicated scanning, and 3D modeling labor for your property before payment, we maintain strict timelines regarding communication and invoicing to ensure fair queue management for all collectors.

By submitting your specimen to INTRESTEIN, you agree to the following timeline:

• Days 1–30 (Active Window): Upon receipt of your digital renders and payment link, your specimen is securely held in our queue. Production begins immediately following invoice settlement AND the selection of options (if needed) or any other outstanding information needed to proceed with production.
• Day 31 (First Reminder): If no payment or communication is received within 30 days, a reminder will be issued to confirm receipt of your invoice and options. A new deadline and order completion date will be issued.
• Day 50 (Final Notice): If the invoice remains unpaid at Day 50, a final notice will be issued via email and/or registered mail. This opens a strict 13-day window to settle the balance or arrange for return shipping.
• Day 63 (Forfeiture & Account Closure): If there is no response, payment, or resolution by Day 63, the project is canceled. The client forfeits the specimen to INTRESTEIN to settle the accumulated costs of intake, video documentation, 3D scanning, secure handling, and facility storage.

Studio Grace Policy: We understand that unexpected hardships occur. If an abandoned specimen is still within our secure archive when a collector re-establishes contact after the 63-day period, we will honor the original partnership. Upon settlement of the original invoice, we will resume production on your custom project with no additional penalty fees.
